From the South: On Route 91,
take Exit 24, Deerfield/Sunderland. Turn right at the end of the
ramp. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Route 116 South.
From the North: On Route 91,
take Exit 25. Follow Route 116 South into Sunderland.
From the South and the North:
Proceed on Route 116 South for approximately 4 miles. Turn left
onto Bull Hill Road. (Bull Hill Road is past a small strip mall
on the right and immediately after a blue house further along on
the left.)
At the end of Bull Hill Road, turn left onto Route
63. Take first right onto Depot Road. Follow Depot Road to the end,
and turn left at the stop sign.
Proceed on this road, which takes a sharp curve
to the right, for .5 mile. Leverett Pond is on your left and a small
triangular green is straight ahead. From here continue up the hill,
past the Congregational Church, Post Office, and Town Hall for about
.75 miles. The site of the new library, on the right just after
the “School Zone” sign, is just south of the community
athletic fields and the Leverett Elementary School.

From Route 9 in Hadley, take Route 116
North. At the stoplight with a sign for North Amherst, turn right.
At the next stoplight, turn left. The road immediately splits at
a V intersection. Take the right side of the V onto Route 63. Follow
Route 63 for approximately 3 miles, and take a right onto Depot
Road (don’t take the earlier left onto Depot Road). Follow
Depot Road up a hill until you reach a stop sign. Turn left (you
are still on Depot Road, and it will immediately make a 90 degree
turn to the right).
Soon you will come to a small triangular green. Continue
up the hill, past the Congregational Church, Post Office, and Town
Hall for about .75 miles. The new library, on the right just after
the “School Zone” sign, is just before the community
athletic fields and the Leverett Elementary School.

From Route 2, take Route 202 South .
5.1 miles from New Salem center (3.8 miles from Hamilton
Orchards road) turn right at sign that says “Shutesbury Center/Lake
Wyola/ State Park”.
Stay on that road for 1.2 miles to Shutesbury Center;
continue another 4.1 miles to sign that says “Amherst/Cushman
Road 5” and “Leverett 2”
Turn right toward Leverett Center
and continue until you see a small triangular green straight ahead.
Continue up the hill, past the Congregational Church, Post Office,
and Town Hall for about .75 miles. The Leverett Library, on the
right, is just before the community athletic fields and the Leverett
Elementary School.
